Children's Council Investiture Ceremony

At Kanakia Kids we provide opportunities to our learners where they get to showcase their various skill sets. One such program is our Children's Council Programme. Kanakia Kids Children's Council is a platform for young learners to explore leadership, managerial, communication, organisation and various other important skills. It is also a platform to get hands-on opportunities to exercise and apply those acquired skills.

Our learners voted for their preferred candidates from various ministries to elect the Ministers and one of the most auspicious ceremonial occasions of the school, - the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2023-24 was solemnized on August 11, 2023 with verve and vigor. The event took place at the Global School in the school premises. Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed children’s Council.

 The new children council were elected to their positions via an in- house e-voting system after robust campaigning.

 The newly elected Council members were conferred with badges and sashes to empower them to fulfil their responsibilities diligently. It was followed by a solemn oath-taking ceremony, where the ministers vowed to be socially responsible, life-long learners and to lead with integrity while they pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.

The swearing-in followed amidst thunderous applause from learners and teachers.

 It was a proud moment to witness children being invested as they embarked on a new journey as leaders. Our Principal Ma’am  Ms. Vani Reddy and our pre-primary coordinator  Ms. Purva Deosugar congratulated and felicitated the children Council.

 We wish all the best to the members of the children council for their upcoming days!!

Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day holds a great significance as we honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who fought for our freedom. Freedom brings responsibility as our hearts swell with pride and gratitude for the countless brave souls who fought relentlessly to liberate our beloved motherland. Independence Day stands for the triumph of bravery, and the tenacious spirit of the Indian people who have shaped our diverse land into a thriving democracy.

 This historic event was celebrated on the campus of Kanakia Kids IS School on 14 August 2023 to mark the 77th anniversary of our Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The trumpet for the Independence Day celebration commenced with the morning assembly where our little learners showcased their patriotism dressing up as their favourite national leader, and our  K1 learners showcasing diversity of our country by wearing traditional clothes worn in different states of India. A speech was also delivered to tell the significance of this historic day and the programme concluded by a heart-warming rendition of the National Anthem by our little ones, standing tall and proud. The sight of those innocent faces echoing the anthem's lyrics was a true testament to the unity and freedom we cherish. The event aimed to educate, inspire and pay homage to the sacrifices made by the iconic freedom fighters who played pivotal roles in India’s struggle for freedom.

 The patriotic fervor always resonates among our learners and it further reverberates during Independence Day. The little ones showcased their patriotism by participating and engaging in different exciting activities such as 'Badges and Poster Making ' with the patriotic fervour and zeal. The day was a blend of fun and learning, fostering a sense of national pride among the learners.

 The celebration was truly a memorable one creating an ambience of patriotism, unity, integrity and harmony.
