Fun wiath Tens Frame
A ten frame is a simple tool for teaching Math to little ones. It helps learners to develop number sense and early numeracy skills. It also helps learners with the visual representation of numbers and provides them with an experience of practically working with numbers. Our K1 learners showcased their numeracy skills by sticking the circles in the tens frame independently.

Winter Season
Pre-schoolers learn about the changes in seasons by observing nature. They also benefit from this since they have a natural curiosity toward the outside world. It is very important to teach our little ones about seasons as it is one of the most fundamental concepts about the environment and theira surroundings that they should know. Our K1 learners were engrossed in expressing their thoughts about the winter season as they engaged in some reflection time. They were at their creative best by drawing the things that they could relate to during the winter season.
Music
BEATS
Music activates both the left and right brain at the same time, and the activation on both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory. Just like your heartbeats, music has "BEATS" where one would tap their toes when listening to it. In this session, learners were introduced to the concept of beats, and the 3 types of time signatures, like 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. They learned to follow the beats by performing various actions like clapping, tapping and stomping their feet, snapping, jumping, etc.

Paper craft has an aesthetic, educational and therapeutic value. This art form is particularly popular with children because it's so easy and approachable. Paper crafting helps to improve hand-eye coordination, but in a way that won't exhaust the mind or body. Paper crafting helps the learners to develop fine motor skills. Paper mobiles for kids are easy paper crafts that are fun. Our K1 learners made these simple paper masterpieces using papers, pipe cleaners and beads.
