Choose an athlete, either the same inspirational athlete or a new one.

Using google images, find an image of your athlete that you believe shows their impact (this should be an image of them in their sport):

• Using a medium of your choice, re-create the image of your athlete so it becomes a piece of art!

Share your art to your blog and write to explain why your athlete is considered a legend. Ask your audience their opinion of your athlete and to share their legendary athletes with you.

Using google, research what challenges and difficulties your legend has had to overcome during their athletic career.

• Has your athlete suffered an injury and been unable to play?

• What was their childhood like? Did aspects of their childhood enhance or hinder their athletic opportunities?

• What athletic goals has your player had during their career? Did they have to work extremely hard to reach their goals?

• What struggles has your athlete faced during their career? How have they overcome these struggles?

Create a presentation to show your athlete's journey, highlighting their struggles and difficulties in their career. Explain how your athlete overcame the challenges they've faced and where they are today.

Think about a time you have competed in something really important to you. This could be anything, from chess, to weekend rugby, to an art competition.

Using a medium of your choice, create an animation of this event. Include the following in your animation:

• Setting: Where did this event take place? What key features did the setting have?

• Characters: What important characters were there? Who played an important part in your story?

• Events: What happened when you were competing? Was there a process for you to prepare or get ready? Did you practise for the event?

• Challenges: What challenges or difficulties did you face when this event took place? Did you overcome those challenges? How? Why/Why not?

• Feelings: How did you feel before, during, and after the event?

Share your completed animation to your blog and write about why you chose this event and a brief summary of your animation.
