Wellness Check and Safety Reminders

SUMMER SCHOOL HEALTH and SAFETY POLICY

Kaimuki Middle Summer School will continue all current health and safety protocols as provided by the CDC and Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.

• Mandatory masking on campus when indoors (outdoor mask use is optional)

• Physical distancing to the extent possible. CDC and DOE guidelines recommend 3 feet distancing in classrooms and 6 feet any time masks are not consistently worn (i.e. during meals and/or optional outdoor mask use)

• Ventilation

• Hand hygiene

• Cleaning and disinfecting

All parents/guardians must conduct a daily wellness check at home. Please report any illness or COVID-19 exposure to the school.
