1st Grade Team

Handwriting practice:

Students should practice writing letters starting each letter at the top. Remember to sit up straight with a flat surface to write on. Students can "rainbow" write on top of printed letters, and then write the letter all by themselves. Encourage starting at the top and "frog Jumping" the pencil when the letter has multiple parts.

Sight words:

Study these words and have your child look for these words when you are reading together. On Friday challenge them to write the words from memory!
