Nurse Belinda started student health screenings the week after the students returned from fall break. She was assisted by some very helpful volunteers from the Coffee County Central High School's CNA class. The students come ove and help and also get some real life experiences on what its like to be a school nurse. Most have plans to get into health care once they graduate. All of the students were very mature and had a wonderful work ethic. Mrs. Barton is such a wonderful partner with Coordinated School Health and is one of many exceptional educators that Coffee County has in the district. Jon Buffington is another volunteer that come and spent the day helping with screenings. He is the Program Director at Bradford Health Services and is a crucial partner for CSH and plays an extremly vital role in the community. Nelene Nunley also volunteered a day. She is a community member that likes to provide her time serving. Coffee County appreciates all of the volunteers and we understand that we could not educate and care for the students like we do if it were not for the volunteers for we have.
