Worldbuilder and Setworldspawn
Change the settings to worldbuilder so you can create anything in your world. Also shows how to set the world spawn (starting point) of anyone joining your world.

Deny Block
Set Deny blocks under objects you don't want other players to destroy.
*great for keeping your critical objects safe when others are in your world.
Allow Block
Set Allow blocks in an area where you want other players to build while in adventure mode.

Using Labels / Writing
Students can label or write in Minecraft by using these items: board, poster, sign, slate.

Border Blocks
Set Border blocks as a fence to keep players in a certain area and not wondering around the world.

Use a beacon to help players find items or locations in your world.

/fill command to change large areas
Using a fill command lets you clear large amounts of area without having to break a single block!
You can fill the area with anything!
*great way to create areas to build in with just a few key strokes.

Use the Resource link so students have easy and quick access to material they would need to reference during their work.
*helps keep students on task while linking them to the material needed to use.
Teleport
Use the /tp command to teleport yourself to another location.
*players can use the / command to easily teleport themselves to another player to start building.
/clone command (make a copy)
Make a copy or "clone" of something you created in Minecraft without having to rebuild it block by block.
*great way to create multiple items for each student to have one in a shared world.
NPC (non playing character)
Use a NPC to give extra information to players in the world.
*NPCs can have links to extra information.
