Patriot Period: Every day from 10:20-10:58am (between 1st and 2nd block). Check Adaptive Scheduler on your PowerSchool Student Portal to see if you've been drafted by a specific teacher! You can also draft yourself to get help from a teacher or to attend a Peer Tutoring Study Group. If you are not drafted to go somewhere during Patriot Period, you must stay in your 1st block class during that time.
AHS Peer Tutoring: The Albemarle High School Peer Tutoring Program is made up of current AHS students who have been trained as peer tutors. They offer individual tutoring and study groups that are open to all students. This is an unlimited, free service.
Brainfuse Help Now (through JMRL): The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library is providing access to free online tutoring to anyone who has a library card. Visit the link for more information on how to access this resource!
Smile Tutors offers in-person and online tutoring, and is entirely funded by donations. (Fun fact: This non-profit was started by AHS peer tutors!)
