Legoland: We closed out our summer adventures with two unforgettable field trips!
We took a nice trip over to Legoland on Tuesday, where students were immersed in creativity and fun. Their journey began with a thrilling 4D movie and a virtual train ride that brought stories to life. The highlight of the visit was a hands-on builder workshop led by professional LEGO builders, where students learned how to use specific pieces to create amazing designs of their own.

Jay Gee's Fun Center: Tuesday we finally got to attend a much anticipated field trip of the summer! Students enjoyed a variety of awesome activities while at Jay Gees. We had some fun on the bumper boats and bumper cars. We raced around in go karts. We hit it out of the park with the batting cages and enjoyed a wonderful round of mini golf. St7ucdents enjoyed what they called the best pizza of the summer and were pleasantly surprised by the large size of the "kiddie" ice cream they got to enjoy before heading home.
Chunky's Movies: And we truly saved the best for last—our final trip was to Chunky’s Movies for a screening of the much-anticipated Bad Guys 2. The students were all smiles and laughter as they enjoyed the film, followed by a delicious meal of pizza, refreshing lemonade, and a sweet ice cream treat.
This week of special trips was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a summer filled with fun, learning, and lasting memories!
Wingaersheek Beach: Thursday was a perfect day for our last summer field trip. Staff and students enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach. We splashed in the waves, dug and buried each other in the sand and took walks over to the rocks to look for sea creatures. It's always a good day when you're at the beach!
Week 4- Kimball's Farm & Stage Fort Park (East)

Kimball Farm: Our most exciting and awaited fieldtrip has arrived. Kimball Farm has so much to offer, students and staff alike are able to participate in the Bumper Boats, Mini Golf, the Golf Driving Range and Bumper Cars! Nothing, not even the HEAT keep us away from Kimball, with so much to do, we had to make sure to fuel up by eating some burgers and chips followed by some delicious homemade ice cream! If you haven't been yet, we 100% recommend going with your families.
Week 4- Nahant Beach & Canobie Lake(Healey)

Nahant Beach: Tuesday was a hot, hot, hot beach day. Thankfully we had the beautiful water to help us keep cool. Staff and students enjoyed the shade of our tents when they could and splashed around for a fun filled afternoon. Nothing quite beats a day of sun and sand at camp!
Stage Fort: We had so much fun at Stage Fort on Thursday!.... for 5 minutes until the rain decided to make an appearance! Luckily, we got our cardio in by running to find and be in some shelter while it rained. At least we were able to get wet, embracing the full beach experience. Still, students were able to play in the park and have some lunch together before the rain forced us to cut it short!
Canobie Lake Park: Thursday was a rainy day for campers as they took on the popular amusement park. A little rain did not stop them from diving right in at Castaway Island and enjoying the lazy river. Campers lined up for much anticipated rides like Untamed and the Boston Tea Party. We had a full day of adventure, and the worst of the rain waited until it was time for us to pack our things and head home. We gathered under coverage when we could find it and braced ourselves for the wet walk back to the busses. Campers were fully exhausted by the time we got back to campus and were eager for some much deserved rest.
Week 3- Davis Farmland & Nahant Beach (East)

Davis Farmland! We have all been super excited and have been waiting for this field trip! Although the bus ride was a bit long, it was well worth it. Our students had a blast exploring everything the farm had to offer, from kittens and chickens to goats and horses! They were able to get up close, learn about the animals, and even pet them. To cool off from the summer heat, students enjoyed Davis’s large and exciting water area, making for the perfect mix of learning and fun.

Wingaersheek Beach: This week the weather was perfect for a day at the beach! Students and staff enjoyed splashing in the water and playing in the sand. We explored the rocks and searched for underwater wildlife. The water was a bit chilly but everyone came back to campus smiling.
Then on Thursday, we took advantage of the sunshine with a trip to Nahant Beach, and it was fantastic! While the water was a bit chilly, it didn’t stop many students and staff! from diving right into the waves. Others chose to stay on the shore, building sandcastles, playing beach games, and even digging deep in the sand to find water, with some help from Mr. Cristopher! Bubbles, beach play, and laughter filled the day.
Week 3
was phenomenal, filled with learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories. We
can’t wait to see what Week 4 brings with upcoming trips to Kimball Farm and
Stage Fort Park & Moon Beach in Gloucester!
Chunky's Movie: Thursday our studen ts headed up to New Hampshire to enjoy a day at the movies! We enjoyed our own theater where we were able to watch the new Pixar movie, Elio, a sweet movie about a boy obsessed with space who finds himself needing to make friendships with aliens to solve an intergalactic problem. Students enjoyed a pizza lunch and a yummy ice cream treat before heading back to campus.
Week 2- Franklin Park Zoo & Bolero (East)

For Week 2, we kicked off our field trips with a visit to the Franklin Park Zoo, where students had the chance to see and learn about a wide range of animals. Although we missed the reptiles this time, we explored the Tropical Rainforest exhibit, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with colorful birds, butterflies, and many other fascinating creatures. Of course, we also visited the always-popular monkeys, gorillas, zebras, and our favorite— the lions! The students had an amazing time and couldn’t stop talking about all the incredible animals they saw.

For week 2 our campers got to start the week with an awesome bowling trip. Campers enjoyed the arcade as well as several games of bowling against each other and staff. We enjoyed another delicious pizza lunch and came back with prizes from our arcade winnings.
On Thursday, we headed over to Bowlero to enjoy everything the facility had to offer, from bowling to the arcade games. Groups competed against each other in friendly matches, and even the teachers joined in on the fun, placing lighthearted bets on which group would come out on top. In the midst of all the excitement, we took a break to enjoy some delicious pizza and some refreshing lemonade before heading back to school.
The weather was on our side this week for a perfect day at the beach this Thursday! Students played in the sand and splashed the day away in the water. We painted beautiful seashells that we found along the beach. We even made friends with some crawling sea creature friends! Campers arrived back at school tired from all the sun and fun and enjoyed some quiet activities with their groups to end the day.

We kicked off the week at camp with an unforgettable field trip to Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester! On Tuesday, students were excited to cool off with a sun-soaked adventure by the sea. Campers came ready with beach toys and all kinds of sports gear to make the most of their day on the sand. There were no sneaky seagulls this time, but plenty of pesky bugs tried to crash the party! Luckily, our prepared and quick-thinking staff came with bug spray, keeping the bites at bay so the fun could continue. A refreshing ocean breeze and beautiful views made it the perfect beach day. We had such a blast, we even brought a little sand back to school with us!

This week campers got to enjoy a fun day at the arcade! In The Game Peabody had so many fun activities for students to try from classic arcade games like Skee ball, virtual reality, laser tag and a ropes course! Campers came back to site with so many prizes and fun memories. They enjoyed a pizza lunch and while it was a very hot day, campers all had a smile on their faces! Unfortunately, this week due to the rain we had to cancel our trip to Nahant beach. We are lucky enough to have more trips planned so students will get to enjoy the sand and water soon enough!
Despite the rainy weather, students at East set out on an exciting learning adventure to the Science Museum on Thursday! Throughout the day, they dove into interactive exhibits and joined guided tours that brought science to life. From exploring the world of vaccines and animal habitats to uncovering the wonders of biology, each group engaged in hands-on experiences that sparked curiosity and deepened their understanding of the world around them. Students were amazed to see real-life applications of what they’ve learned—and even discovered brand-new ideas along the way. The trip left everyone inspired, curious, and more excited than ever about the world of science!
