SDSU/Brookings Project SEARCH
About Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH is designed as an Internship that partners with SDSU, Project SEARCH is a unique program for students who are 18-21 years old with disabilities. Students who want to work have the chance to explore careers and develop transferable skills.
Five days a week Interns learn employability skills in the classroom and job skills while participating in real-world jobs at SDSU. Interns learn transferable job skills through a series of job rotations lasting 10-12 weeks each that fit their strengths and skills. They receive support at their jobs through accommodations, adaptations, and on-the-job coaching.
Students who have completed all academic requirements for graduation from high school may apply for enrollment in Project SEARCH
