November News!
Beyond Bedtime PJ Drive November 3- 28. For every pair of PJs donated, Scholastic will donate a new book to a local nonprofit that supports children in Sioux Falls. All PJs will be donated locally as well. Every protime will be competing against one another to see who collects the most PJs in the month of November! The protime with the most will win a breakfast party!
November 17-21 Coin War to raise money for Sioux Empire United Way! This will also be a competition against each protime. Coins are positive points and dollar bills are negative points.

Dance Details
Date: Friday, October 31st
Time: 4:00–5:30 PM
Cost: $5.00 per student
The $5.00 admission includes two slices of pizza, a drink, and entrance to the dance. Extra pizza will be available for $1.00 per slice.
Ticket Information
Tickets will be on sale October 20th–24th.
This is a firm deadline—tickets will not be sold after October 24th.
Students will purchase tickets from their Protime teacher only.
Students may only purchase a ticket for themselves (no buying for friends, siblings, etc.).
Behavior & Eligibility
Students who have detention, ISS, or OSS on the day of the dance may not attend.
If a student buys a ticket and later receives one of these consequences on October 31st, they will not receive a refund.
Ticket Distribution
Students will receive their tickets during Protime on Friday, October 31st.
Please remember:
Lost tickets will not be replaced.
Students must bring their ticket and school ID to enter the dance.
Day-of Logistics
After school, students will store their supplies in their lockers, then line up by grade level:
6th grade: In front of the Counseling Office
7th grade: In front of the FCS classroom
8th grade: In front of the Library bathrooms
Students may bring only their phone and money (if they plan to buy extra pizza).
We are excited to kick off the 2025-2026 academic school year! Below is important information on what the process to be involved will look like.
2025-2026 Student Council Application Information!
Applications are open the week of September 8-12 - this will be done through a google form on your students team Canvas page. We will not accept any late applications!
Students can begin campaigning September 15-19. This may include hanging up posters, encouraging peers to vote for you, etc.
Voting will open September 22nd at 3:48 (end of school day) and close September 25 at 3:48.
Winners will be announced Friday, September 26 during morning announcements.

Please make sure that any posters or other items that get hung up during the campaign week get taken down before leaving school on September 25th. You may reach out to Ms. Erickson or Mrs. Karst with any specific voting questions.
