Amazon Wish List

This is the platform I will use to communicate all things Kinder Cougars! I will share special events, fun projects, reminders and private messages. This is a district wide platform to create uniformity for families with multiple students. It is new to the staff so please be patient as we learn together. Login information is available on the district website and Viborg-Hurley Cougar app.

Parents are asked to provide one healthy snack for your child each day. Here are some ideas to get you started: graham crackers, fruit cups, yogurt, chex mix, cereal, raisins, applesauce and pre-popped popcorn. Please send plastic silverware with your child if the snack requires it.

Birthdays that fall during our school year will be celebrated as close to the actual date as possible. We will celebrate half birthdays for those with birthdays in the summer. You are welcome (but certainly not obligated to) send treats to share with the class. It is helpful if they are individually wrapped. Refer to the Class List to contact friends for birthday parties rather than sending invitations to school.

Within the first quarter of school, I will put together a class list with contact information for those that granted me permission to do so. Please use this list for setting up play dates and birthday parties.

Sending a water bottle with your child will be helpful as drink breaks will be limited. If you decide to send a water bottle to school with your child, please make sure it has a spill-proof lid and is clearly labeled. I will send the bottles home with your student every week to be washed.

Cougar Fridays allow teachers the opportunity to meet with students individually or with a small group to help with any lagging skills or work that needs made up. If this is something your child will benefit from, I will contact you directly to make plans to have them attend.

This folder will come home within the first week of school! It needs to be taken out and emptied at home every day. I will be sending important notes and completed work home so it is important to check the folder regularly.
