Mrs. Laura Nettifee is excited to begin a new year of learning adventures with Viborg-Hurley School District's littlest Cougars. After being raised in Turkey Ridge and graduating from Viborg-Hurley, she obtained her education training from the University of Sioux Falls. From there, Mrs. Nettifee spent six years teaching first grade in a neighboring district before returning to VH as a kindergarten teacher in 2023!
Mrs. Nettifee aims to prepare student hearts for a lifetime of learning. Yes, that starts with ABCs and 123s, but her favorite part of teaching young children is the learning that happens in the heart.
When Mrs. Nettifee is not teaching, she can be found spending time with her family (Husband, Jeremy; son, Elliott; daughter, Charlotte) on their acreage outside of Chancellor where they have many chickens. In addition to her family, she enjoys playing piano, singing, and tackling any new ideas that come her way.
