Cavalier Day - TBD
This day is your one-stop shop for everything you need to start high school well. From school ID's to chromebook insurance to activity passes, this is the time and place. Most parents can complete all the stations is under 30 minutes. Watch for more information about Cavalier Day in upcoming communication.
Cavalier Gold Rush Night/Parent Open House - TBD
Walk your freshman's schedule and meet each teacher. Great night to jump into your freshman's world . Teachers will give 10-minute overviews of their class and provide important communication tools and insight into their class.
Infinite Campus allows parents to see student schedules, grades, attendance, behavior, and report cards online. A parent/guardian with more than one student in the Sioux Falls School District will be able to view information for all their students with one account.
Infinite Campus App
The Infinite Campus App is the best way to be updated about your student(s). The app can be found by following the link or scanning the QR code. The app is called Campus Parent.

Directions to Set Up Your Infinite Campus
Download the app to your phone
Search for district: Sioux Falls School District and State: South Dakota
Click “New User”
Enter activation key: (from counseling office)
Type in a username
Type in a password
Log into your account, be sure to click on the Stay Logged In box

Parents/guardians can create a Canvas account and link to their student’s account to view information about assignments, announcements, and other course content.
Parent Account Setup
1 - Open a web browser and navigate to https://siouxfalls.instructure.com/login/canvas
2 - Select Click Here For an Account.
3 - Enter your name and email address.
4 - Choose a password and enter it in the Password field. Re-enter your password in the Re-enter Password field.
5 - Type the six-digit alphanumeric pairing code that was generated in student account.
Note: Students must generate the pairing code in their account.
4 - To complete registration, agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Click the Start Participating button.
Pairing with Additional Students
After pairing to the first student, parents/guardians can add additional students to observe.
1 - In the Global Navigation Menu, click the Account icon. Then, click the Observing link.
2 - Type the pairing code in the Student Pairing Code field, and click the blue Add Student button.
Note: Pairing codes are unique to the student and must be generated in the student’s account.
