3D Printing

From Investopedia.com, 3D Printing is "an additive manufacturing process that creates a physical object from a digital design. The process works by laying down thin layers of material in the form of liquid or powdered plastic, metal or cement, and then fusing the layers together." Our 3D Printers use ABS plastic filament, and we currently have two in the lab. Want to know more about 3D Printing? Click here!

Our 3D printers are compatible with .STL files.  Our personal favorite CAD site for creating .STL files is TinkerCAD! Students can create their own profile, and there is a tutorial. Check out our TinkerCAD page for more info!
