Laser Engraving/Cutting

Students and staff can use our incredible laser cutter to bring their designs to life! From engraving a picture on wood to creating an intricate 3D model out of cardboard, the possibilities are endless with this machine! The laser cutter also has a rotary attachment for engraving cups or other rounded objects.

Our Muse Core Full Spectrum Laser uses a software called Re3. This software is only available when your computer is connected to the laser in the lab. However, it is compatible with a variety of image types. If you are wanting to raster (engrave) an image, PNG & JPEG are the best files. SVG files work well for raster and vector cutting.  If you want to cut out or engrave a logo the image file needs to have a transparent background.
