We have a new logo!

KPETA is rebranding!!

Annette Berry from Sioux Lookout designed our current logo 25 years ago when our two previous unions joined together and we need a refresh!!!!! This logo reflected the colours of the trees and the water in our area and highlighted the highway representing where our members are. 

The KPETA executive is hosting a “Design Our New Logo” contest. Submissions will be accepted November 1-16.  Once the contest closes, the membership shall have the chance to vote for their favourite logo.  Members will cast one vote online to choose our new logo.  Voting will take place starting November 17 until November 24.  If you have a creative flair or design skills that you think would make a new logo for us we want your submissions!

Criteria

• ·        Create an image that reflects our local union and highlights union pride.  Submissions should include a short write up (1-2 sentences)describing your logo

• ·        The redesigned logo must incorporate the name of our local (Keewatin Patricia Elementary Teachers’ Association) and the acronym (KPETA)

• ·        You can use any medium you choose, but should your logo be selected, modifications may happen at the printer.

• ·        All submissions become the property of KPETA

• ·        The winning logo will be unveiled at our Fall Meeting, November 30.

• ·        You can submit more than one entry

• ·        Send your submissions to kpetapresident@gmail.com by November 16th.

The winner of designing logo will receive a $100.00 gift card of their choice and bragging rights!

The Local will be using some Provincial Incentive money and will be purchasing hoodies for all members with our new logo in the new year.
