Tier 2 support is designed to provide group or brief interventions to support students who need reteaching of Tier 1 Support efforts. Based on the Team's review of data, classroom or small group supports and interventions are implemented to address current concerns.

Tier 2 group supports and brief interventions are an important part of encouraging and maintaining appropriate school behavior. SBBH personnel can be a valuable source of input and support. Teams should meet to determine if and how SBBH can participate in Tier 2 teaming or in the Student Support Process through consultation with counselors and faculty to use the Student Intervention Matching (SIM) form to match students to counselor or classroom interventions, or collaborating on small group counseling initiatives.
