Activity: Donut Coloring Sheet
Activity: Think about something you patiently wait for. How long do you wait? What nice things come of it? Discuss and share with a family member
Activity: Go for a walk and practice being present. Pay extra attention to the details of different things you pass by. Focus your mind on what is happening around you as you go about your walk.
Activity: Start a diary of your own. If you already have one, compare how your diary is the same and how it is different from worm's diary.
Activity: How are you a good listener? Discuss what a person listening looks like (ex. eyes on the speaker, facing towards the speaker, body still, mouth closed, etc).
Activity: Play a "sounds" game. One person gathers various items (ex. horn, tissue paper, keys, etc). That person then uses these items to make various sounds. The other person(s) playing will try to guess the sound without looking.
Activity: Draw a picture of yourself being "Peace." Before you start drawing, ask yourself "What does that look like?" "How should my facial expression be?" "What does my body language look like?"
Alternate Activity: Go outside and run around until your heart is beating faster than normal. Now take time to practice your deep, mindful breaths. Time yourself, how long does it take to lower your heart rate back to normal?
Activity: Finish this sentence, "I'm happy to be me because..."

Activity: Was there ever a time someone made you feel bad? Or maybe a time you saw someone making fun of someone else? How did you respond? If you could go back in time, would you change your choice of actions? Why or why not?

BONUS: Research the difference between "sympathy" and "empathy."
