Products will vary greatly among students. This is a group assignment. Attach any virtual documentation of your product to the assignment posted on Google Classroom. Submissions may include graphs, videos, photos, links to web content, etc.
Due date: January 31st, 2020
The final product will represent the student’s skills and knowledge specific to the capstone project. It will be exclusively the work of the student with guidance and support from appropriate teachers and industry representatives. Products may be models, websites, solutions, innovative updates to existing products, movies, software applications (apps), entrepreneurial businesses (virtual or brick and mortar), inventions, manuals, etc.
The product will be evaluated based on creativity, critical thinking, messaging, and must be:
Related to/a result of the research paper and capstone experiences
Able to be observed, used, reviewed, examined, etc., by others
Solely the work of the student
NOTE: Students working together as a team for their capstone project may combine their product and presentation, if the product is a performance (e.g., group writes and produces a play; dance team learns choreography, creates a new dance to an appropriate song, and performs). However, documentation of the role and responsibility of each team member in development of the product presentation must provide evidence of equitable involvement and collaborative engagement of each student. Examples of such products may be a public service commercial, development of a new app, establishment of a new business, etc.
