We will be implementing the following strategies to lower the risk of COVID-19 exposure and spread as we resume in-person meetings and instruction for our Summer Learning Hub:
All adults should cover their mouths and noses with a cloth face cover (aka, mask).
It is recommended that students wear masks to the greatest extent possible.
For younger students in grades Pre-K to 2nd grade, or students with disabilities, it is not required as wearing masks may be very difficult for them.Hand hygiene or sanitizing stations will be set up in all classrooms.
No more than 15 persons will attend any meeting or class.
Teachers & students will practice social distancing to the greatest extent possible.
Limit Sharing
Keep each child's belongings separated from others' and in individually labeled containers, cubbies, or areas.
Ensure adequate supplies to minimize sharing of high touch materials
Avoid sharing electronic devices, toys, books, and other games or learning aids
Minimize physical contact between participants.
Clean and disinfect all frequently used surfaces before and after all meetings, including tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, touch screens, chairs, arms of chairs, faucets and sinks, etc.
Approved CDC spray cleaner and paper towels will be available in each classroom along with hand soap, hand sanitizer, gloves and disposable masks.
Wash hands for 20 seconds or sanitize hands before and after all meetings and classes.
