Membership in our after school program is at no charge.
Our after school program receives resources through public and private grants, as well as community donations and sponsorships to provide equipment, some supplies, and payroll costs.
Families may still be asked to pay for costs which extend beyond the budget, such as club shirts, sport jerseys, after school snacks, etc. Program leaders and coaches will contact parents when these needs arise.
The Resources for Enrichment, Athletics, Culture, & Health (REACH) state grant provides Out-of-School Time (OST) opportunities for middle/intermediate students at Hawaii public and charter schools at no cost to families.
This statewide program provides public middle and intermediate schools with support for after-school opportunities so they can stay on track toward high school graduation and be better prepared for future success.
REACH programs offer instruction and activities from three general areas: academic enrichment, arts and culture, and athletics. It is one of the few sources of state funds for out-of-school time programs in the nation.
STEMworks and its funding sources are responsible for diverse array of after school clubs and activities, such as Gardening, Hula, Coding, Esports, Social Media, and more.
Sponsors are KS Kainalu, a division of Kamehameha schools bringing educational opportunities beyond the campus; the county of Maui; and the Stupski foundation.
