Here at Princess Victoria Ka'iulani Elementary School , we strive for excellence and are committed to providing a quality standards-based education in a safe and nurturing environment. We are located in Kalihi-Palama, across from Tamashiro Market and Kaumakapili Church. Our students come from a wide variety of ethnicities and backgrounds. We are named after Hawaii's heir apparent, Princess Victoria Ka'iulani Kalaninuiahilapalapa Kawekiu i Lunalilo Cleghorn. In the year of her untimely death in 1899, Princess Victoria Ka'iulani Elementary School opened its doors. A clipping of her banyan tree from her home, 'Ainahau, was given to the school. Today, our banyan tree continues to flourish on the makai side of our campus.
