The CTE Honors Certificate is a supplemental project that students work on outside of class in order to obtain a certificate upon graduation. Students in Level 2 CTE course are evaluated on technical skills & knowledge learned in the CTE Programs of Study. Each PBA includes a challenge for students to develop a solution, strategy, and/or product to solve a problem
All requirements below must be met:
Complete all requirements for a high school diploma with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of Senior Year
B or better in 2 courses taken in sequence in the selected CTE Program of Study that the student is enrolled in
70% or better average of total scores for Performance Based Assessment comprised of:
Research Paper
Oral Presentation
Deliverable
*Performance Based Assessment (PBA) may be individual or group oriented depending on the course and teacher's discretion.
