Industry Recognized Certifications (IRCs) are credentials recognized by business and industry at the local, state or national level. It is an assessment, test, or license that is conducted and recognized by an outside third party or governing board. A student who earns an IRC while in high school may be better prepared to enter the workforce after they graduate. The completion of an IRC shows employers that the student has the skills and knowledge they are looking for.
Students who enroll in this one-year course will be able to earn the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health Food Handlers Certification.
Students who complete this online program will earn the US Department of Labor OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
This one-year course will prepare students for the American Red Cross - First Aid Certification and BLS Certification.
Students who complete this online program will earn the Service Excellence Certificate of Achievement. From the program, students gain essential skills necessary for employment in the hospitality industry.
