Internship sites may be onsite, virtual, or both. Students are responsible for transportation to and from internship site. Priority will be given to juniors and seniors who are in the career pathway WBL courses.

Auto Technician Apprentice Internship
Interns will work with journeymen technicians to learn how to diagnose, problem solve and repairing customers' vehicle.
"We are looking for students that are motivated, responsible and eager to learn from our experienced technicians and to eventually be able to do some hands-on work under supervision when the intern is ready. Must have basic automotive repair skills. Gain valuable experience that will translate to a successful career in the automotive industry."

Hawaiian Railway Society Internship
Assist with a variety of daily tasks, including visitor support, cleaning, organizing, event preparation, grounds maintenance, taking merchandise inventory, and other projects assigned by staff. Gain hands-on experience working in a community-based historical organization and learn about the history of rail transportation in Hawaii.
Duties include but aren't limited to:
Required Skills & Traits:
Assist with a variety of daily tasks, including visitor support, cleaning, organizing, event preparation, grounds maintenance, taking merchandise inventory, and other projects assigned by staff. Gain hands-on experience working in a community-based historical organization and learn about the history of rail transportation in Hawaii.
Duties include but aren't limited to:
Customer Service: Greet visitors, answering phones, and provide a welcoming experience.
Communication: Communicate clearly and respectfully with visitors, volunteers, and staff.
Maintenance Assistance: Help with basic cleaning, groundskeeping, and upkeep of museum and railway areas.
Required Skills & Traits:
Technology Skills: Use computers and basic digital tools for research, documentation, or administrative tasks.
Reliability: Good attendance, Arrive on time, follow safety procedures, and complete assigned responsibilities.

Malama Learning Center Internship
Vision: People of West Oʻahu mālama ‘āina, nurture the next generation to continue this work, and share their successes with communities across Hawai‘i and the world.
Interns will assist with the various conservation and restoration efforts in several possible sites. Intern will work with their hands to learn how to care for our ‘āina. Interns will learn about the importance of native plants and the destructive nature of invasive plants
Requirements:
Vision: People of West Oʻahu mālama ‘āina, nurture the next generation to continue this work, and share their successes with communities across Hawai‘i and the world.

The primary duties of this position are to assist with score updates and/or live statistics for various sports, including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, water polo, and flag football. Genuine interest and knowledge of team sports is an assest.
