The Health Careers Summer Internship is a six-week paid internship program open to high school juniors and seniors and college students. Designed to provide students firsthand experience in health care, our internships are offered at Hawaii Pacific Health and our network of medical centers.

Program Highlights:
Application Deadline: April 5, 2025.
Interviews: All applicants will be interviewed as part of the selection process.
Guaranteed Spots: This year, we are guaranteeing 5 winners, with the potential to support additional students based on available funding.
Experience: Winners will participate in an 80-hour paid externship with leading local ACE firms, gaining real-world insights and mentorship from industry professionals.

2025 Summer CTE Academy

The Summer CTE Academy is a five week exploratory summer program that offers the students the opportunity to experience various career and technical education programs offered at Honolulu Community College.

The CANOE - Pre-Health Academy is a four-week statewide intensive program designed to provide skills and resources to help students excel in academia and later graduate from a health professions program. Graduating high school seniors, and college students considering to transfer to UH Mānoa in Hawaiʻi interested in health careers coming from an economically disadvantaged background, first generation college student, or underrepresented minority group are encouraged to apply.
