Work Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30 minute lunch), 32 hours a week

Aloun Farms is offering an awesome 4-week Agricultural Internship Program for motivated high school students who want real-world experience in Hawaiʻi’s agriculture industry! This isn’t just about working in the fields—it’s about understanding the full journey of how fresh, locally grown food reaches our community.
As an Aloun Farms Intern, you’ll gain experience in:
• Farming: Crop Care & Harvesting
• Operations & Logistics: Packing & Distribution
• Sales & Accounting
• Human Resources & Office Administration
• Marketing & Event Coordination
Sat, July 25 Market - Throughout the internship, interns will have the opportunity to tend and harvest their own crops. On July 25th, interns will have the opportunity to sell and keep the profits of their crops.
Eligibility Requirements:
16 years or older by the start of the internship
Must be a current JCHS junior
Interested in agriculture, business, and operations
Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn
You must be able to provide your own transportation to the worksite(s)
Physical Requirements: Can lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Employment Eligibility Verification: I can provide documents to verify I am eligible to work as required by law. See page two of I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. (i.e. A passport or permanent resident card. Or a combination of two documents, such as a State ID AND a social security card.)

Hours: 60 hours total (cannot exceed 18 hours per week)

Eligible students:
CTE level 2 Completer and enrolled in a CTE level 3 course in the Fall
In a level 3 or level 4 CTE course aligned to the students’ program of study
GPA of 2.5 or above
Attend all onboardings, professional development sessions, and sharing dates.

Internship Description: Summer intern will support The Gay Agenda Collective (alongside sister company, Haus of Puas) with hands-on experience in event planning and floral operations.

Interns will assist with administrative event preparation, such as building client binders, organizing timelines, preparing production documents, printing materials, and helping maintain Asana and shared drive systems.
