RiseHI's Creative AI Accelerator
RiseHI’s Creative AI Accelerator is an 8-week paid summer program where 10 students (ages 15–26) learn the creative AI tools reshaping the entire creative industry. They generate images, video, music, and finished short films using the same tools professional studios are now adopting — Higgsfield, Kling, Veo, Suno. Each participant earns a $1,000 stipend on completion, plus a RiseHI Creative AI Certificate and a real portfolio piece.
Why this matters for our kids — and our ʻōhana:
The creative landscape is changing fast. The young people who learn these tools NOW will have a meaningful head start. These aren’t trendy skills; they translate directly to paid freelance work in video, marketing, content, and digital storytelling. A skill that lifts a student lifts their whole ʻōhana. We want our kids equipped for the world that’s actually coming, not the one we grew up in.
And what makes this program even better: we’re using these tools to do something that actually matters. Two real kūpuna stories will be brought to life this summer:
• An 11-year-old’s eyewitness account of Pearl Harbor from Kaimukī on December 7, 1941
• The story of Taking Back Mōkapu in 1976 — a kānaka maoli family’s stand to reclaim access to ancestral lands
Both kūpuna have been interviewed and have given their consent. Students will produce two short films that premiere at a community showcase the last week of July. Their work, our community’s stories, preserved.
No prior AI or video experience required.
