Whether you use it or not, artificial intelligence is everywhere, on every device. As instructors, you decide the outcomes for your course. Will you let the allure of AI's efficiency streamline the status quo of passive compliance (e.g., quizzes, extended response questions, lesson plans, rubrics, targeted feedback, analysis of student work) for PD credit courses, or will you harness its power to fundamentally transform how we teach and engage with teachers and their students? Does your portfolio criteria communicate indicators of deeper learning or compliance where the focus is primarily on fulfilling the requirements without engaging deeply with the material or transferring the new understanding with teacher's day to day work? Where's the evidence of your claims?

It's becoming increasingly difficult to definitively identify AI-generated products.
