Student Enrollment Procedures
Registration Hours: Monday thru Friday (except Holidays) 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
(Please make an appointment by calling 305-6522)
Please be prompt for your appointment and all parties must wear a face covering. Should any of you be experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (to include fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing, loss in taste and smell) OR had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, please call to reschedule your appointment.
Note:
Your child can only enroll at Aiea High School if you reside in the Aiea District
The child must reside with the custodial parent or court-appointed legal guardian; no exceptions will be made.
You must provide 2 current and different proof of residency (a document attached to the house; utility bill, cable bill, rental agreement, mortgage statement).
Each proof of residency must include the custodial parent's or legal guardian's name on the document.
According to HRS 710-1063, falsification on a government application is a misdemeanor and that when such a violation is found, the child will be sent back to the school where he/she should properly be attending. DOE may pursue prosecution at its discretion.
Out of State (and Private School) Student Enrollment Procedures
The following documents need to be presented at the time of enrollment:
Birth Certificate or Passport
Immunization shots record
Legal Guardianship/Power of Attorney (if applicable)
Physical Examination (done within one year)
Two Different Forms for Proof of Residency in the Aiea High School District
Current Mortgage Statement or Rental Agreement
Current Utility Statement(s)
Release papers from the previous school (Paperwork to show courses taken and/or taking along with grades and credits)
TB Clearance (done within one year) this is a mandatory DOE requirement
Picture ID of parent/guardian registering the students (a copy will be made).
In State From Other HIDOE School Student Enrollment Procedures
The following documents need to be presented at the time of enrollment:
Birth Certificate or Passport
Legal Guardianship/Power of Attorney (if applicable)
Two Different Forms for Proof of Residency in the Aiea High School District
Current Mortgage Statement or Rental Agreement
Current Utility Statement(s)
Release papers from the previous school (Paperwork to show courses taken and/or taking along with grades and credits)
Expedite
To expedite the Registration/Enrollment process please download, print and fill in the "Aiea High School Student Enrollment Forms" link below. It is mandatory to fill all of the forms and please print forms single sided only.
***Note: The student should be present when parent/guardian is enrolling the student so that they may meet and speak with their assigned counselor. The student will also be paying their school and class dues. They will have their picture taken for their Aiea High School identification. If all paperwork and documentation are complete, the student would start the next school day.****
