ACCN for Foundations of Creative Media: TAC2010

Course Description:

• This is the FIRST year course in the Digital Design and Film & Media Production Program of Study(s). Students will be introduced to basic concepts in Visual, Fashion, Performing, Written, and Media Arts. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the following concepts will be covered: 1) Innovation 2) Legal and Ethical Issues 3) Communication 4) Aesthetics 5) Problem Solving 6) Safety. This course will focus on the basics of graphic design and digital media. This course is a prerequisite for students pursuing a Career and Technology Education program of study in Arts and Communication.
