Resources to Enrich and Challenge Students

• "Book Hooks" serve as a "preview" to a book, with the purpose of engaging and allowing your student to choose his or her next read.

  • Be mindful of the variety of choices you provide (such as fiction and nonfiction). Flip the assignment and have the student create a book hook to "hook" you! EX: Book Hook for Wonder by R.J. Palacio

• Read and check out audiobooks or ebooks using your public library card with apps and sites such as Hoopla, Overdrive, or Libby!
