Practice and Pedagogies

Exciting News!

JuabSD has received a CS Planning Grant that helps expand computational thinking in our district. We want to grow our capacity and confidence district-wide! As part of this grant, we have the ability to provide a stipend for educators and support staff who engage in earning micro-credentials aligned to Computational Thinking Practices and Pedagogies.

  • Certified educators will receive the existing micro-credential district incentive ($200/micro-credential) plus a $200 stipend, paid through the grant for each earned micro-credential.

  • Classified employees will receive a $200 stipend for each earned micro-credential,

There are 10 micro-credentials available within the Digital Promise network that are tied to this incentive program. View the micro-credentials here:

Please email Krystle Bassett if you are interested in joining this incentive. Funds are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Our grant budget allows for up to 50 earned micro-credentials district-wide.

I earned a micro-credential...Now what?

Use the SHARE option from Digital Promise to email your earned badge to krystle.bassett@juabsd.org, and whomever else you want! Each aligned micro-credential will warrant a one time stipend through payroll to reward your learning.
