Reading and Activity Schedule

Dual Objectives: You must prepare for the AP English Literature exam and also survey the development of British literature to satisfy 12th grade TEKS, though not in the depth of a regular English class. You will read and write about poetry, short stories, plays,  and a novel.  

The schedule will be changed as needed.

Recurrent activities:

~ Weekly SAT vocabulary development: regular worksheets, quizzes, and tests to develop higher  

order vocabulary 

~Bi-weekly poetry project: analysis of self-selected poems by poets for

~We will read selected chapters of Bedford Reader

~AP multiple choice exercises: to familiarize you with and prepare you for the AP Exam multiple

choice section

~AP type in-class essays: to prepare you for and improve your skill in the various types of AP

   exam essays.

~quizzes and tests in each six weeks.
