About Me

All About ME!

My name is Wendy Babcock. I have been married for 20+ years to a great guy named Doug. Together we have five children- it is not fair when they come two at a time! Dawson- 18, Danovyn- 16, Everly- 12, Daxton- 9, Deagan- 9 and of course Lady our dog- 6 (dumb Covid) keep us very busy. We met in high school and dated through our "theatre years" and finally got married in 2005.

I have been teaching at Daybreak Elementary for the past 21 years. I taught 6th grade for 12 years then switched to Drama for the past 9 years. Fun fact- Kristie Howe and I started at Daybreak at the same time. It is so great that we get this opportunity to come together again!

I have a bachelors degree in Musical Theatre from Weber State University (Go Wildcats!). I also have a bachelors degree in elementary education from Utah State University (Best Ice Cream Ever!). I got my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from University of Phoenix. I have endorsements in Gifted & Talented, Educational Technology, English as a Second Language, Elementary Music, Theatre, History and Psychology. I love learning and can't wait to learn in this new adventure.
