The Certificate of Completion from Salt Lake Community College demonstrates that you have completed all general education requirements for most college degrees. To earn the Certificate, you must complete a minimum of 27 hours of course work -- 12 hours of required classes and 15 hours of elective courses from 5 subject areas.
The Certificate of Completion is a great choice for students who are undecided on their college major but want to get a head start on general education college classes while in high school.
Students who earn the Certificate can transfer the credit hours to other colleges and universities. Utah System of Higher Education colleges and universities accept the certificate as proof that all general education requirements were met. You will also qualify for graduation from SLCC.
