Career and Technical Education (CTE) is powered by passionate educators who specialize in career field program areas, facilitate career development, and support students with unique needs. We are focused on expanding student’s career and college options and making the transition from high school to adulthood easier. Our mission? Every Johnston County Public Schools graduate has a plan for their future and the skills, knowledge, and aptitudes to make it a reality. 

Throughout the school year, our department has many amazing opportunities for the students at Clayton High School.  It is often hard to keep track of all important dates and times for these events.  In order to keep everyone informed, CTE Connect was created.  Once a month, we will release a newsletter that showcases everything coming up.  If you have any questions during the school year, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can better assist you and your student.
