CTE Apprenticeship

First class is Saturday, September 13.

Time: 7am-4pm

Lunch: The instructors will schedule time for breaks and lunch during the day. The students will usually be on their own for lunch. They can either run out and get something or bring lunch to class. Sometimes the instructors will coordinate a group lunch order depending on what the students want to do. There are also a few times where we will order pizza or something similar for the students. The instructors are good about making sure the students eat.

Steel-toed boots will be required for the program. ($30-$35 at Walmart is about the lowest I am seeing). If you find that the cost of boots becomes a concern for any of the students, please do let me know, and we will figure out a way to support them. I don’t want this expense to limit anyone’s opportunity to participate in the program.

Overview & Expectations form - it’s helpful for the students to return this before Saturday (just to confirm their commitment), but it is okay if they can’t turn it in until the first day of class.
