6-8 Scope & Sequence

Middle School Program

The career development program at the middle school level is coordinated by two Middle School Career Development Coordinators (CDCs) who support all 14 middle schools. They work closely with School Counselors to develop a plan for implementing the Career Development Plan (CDP) and other activities like JOCO Works - a community-driven, engaging career expo for 8th grade students. Often middle school teachers are involved in facilitating the CDP activities and lessons in their classrooms, with support from the Middle School CDCs.
