Summit Madness

by Cruz Ogbulu

On 7 March of this year, it will be the 2nd annual Summit Madness teachers v. staff basketball game. It’s in the Summit gym and over 70% of teachers are either competing against students or in the pep band. Students have the option to either compete against the teachers, sit in the bleachers and cheer, or play board games in the cafeteria.

Since last year, Summit Madness has been a thing appreciated by students and teachers across the school.

From my screen to yours, this is Cruz Ogbulu, signing off. See you after spring break!

The Three Little Pigs

Last Friday, Mrs. Beeman's class reenacted The Three Little Pigs.  They have a library time once a week, and had read the story with Mrs. McAlister.  They made stick puppets of their role in the play.  Then they practiced.  There were some peer helpers from Adventure that came to help.  On Friday, they did the play to Mrs. Templeton's and Ms. Vines' Summit Strong students in the audience.  It went really well, and Riley was an excellent wolf.
