Meet our Team

Stacy Pustina

Stacy is our Pupil Services Director and School Psychologist.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from UW- La Crosse in Psychology and Spanish.  She obtained her Educational Specialist degree from UW- Stout in School Psychology and administrative certificate from UW-Superior. Her professional passions focus on effective behavior management, parent resources, early intervention, social skills, and coping strategies.

Kathleen Ayala

Kathleen is our School Social Worker. She received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and her Masters in Social Work from University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a licensed clinical social worker who has provided clinical services to children in a multitude of settings. She supports students in exploration of emotions, self-regulation, and social skill development. Her goal is to meet children and families where they are and help them develop strategies, combined with their own natural strengths, to overcome challenges and promote growth.

Megan Campnell

Megan is a speech-language pathologist providing services to qualifying early childhood through first grade students. She earned her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and pioneered a multi-year research program investigating how home language shapes young children's development.  Megan has practiced in clinics, hospitals, schools, and clients’ homes across the state of Wisconsin. She is passionate about play-based therapy and partnering with families to support communicative independence.

Adria Braley Jaeggi

Adria is one of our K-12 bilingual resource teachers. She holds a master's degree in culturally-responsive teaching from UW-La Crosse and current teaching licenses in Spanish, ESL, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and Secondary English Language Arts. She is passionate about fostering multilingualism, multiliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding among all stakeholders.

Julio Castillo

Bilingual Resource teacher for the district. Julio graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in ESL/Bilingual Bicultural studies from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. His goal is to empower students with confidence to succeed in the classroom and to contribute positively to their communities, now and in the future.

Paola Hannon

I am an EL paraprofessional and also the translator for the Johnson Creek School District. I enjoy working not only with our students but also with their families to show them opportunities that they never considered, or thought were possible.

The Johnson Creek School District Pupil Services team provides academic, career, social, emotional, and personal counseling and support to ALL students.  We believe in the potential of all and are committed to developing life-long learners who value themselves, contribute to their community, and succeed in a changing world.

Our pupil services team work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners to help students reach their goals.

It is our belief that all students can learn, achieve and find joy when school environments are inclusive, safe, and compassionate.  Johnson Creek meets their students at their readiness while nurturing POWERful learners within an environment that supports learners.  We believe in a team approach in learning, which focuses on the student's emotional needs while fostering academic growth.
