'Tis The Season

Dear Patriots,

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to our John Curtis family! We are celebrating not only the wonderful holiday season, but the conclusion of the first semester. We encourage each student to go to support their fellow classmates by cheering them on and showing school spirit at school events. We would like to give a big shout out to the Student Council, Key Ckub, FCA, and Interact Club for participating in various Christmas community events. The high school celebrated by having our annual Christmas Chapel on Monday, December 16, 2024. The students and staff showed their holiday swag with Christmas sweaters. Our gift to you is this beautiful December edition of our school newspaper. We hope you enjoy it!

Student Council, with their giving spirit, put together the Elf Shop at the Lower School. They donated their time to help children pick out the best gifts for their family members, wrap gifts, and spread Christmas cheer!

We appreciate those who go out and support our teams! The Spirit Club shows out and puts together an amazing student section at all of our games! Our teachers are even so supportive of their students and are so valued!

Celebrating Jesus' Birthday

The Upper School celebrated Christmas with the annual Christmas Chapel. Everyone wore their festive Christmas sweaters. The Worship Team had a wonderful performance of the songs "Mary Did You Know?" and "Abide." The Colonial Regiment followed with an outstanding performance of the songs "Nightmare Before Christmas," "Jingle Bells," "Sleigh Ride," and "Mary Did You Know." This production had the whole school in the holiday spirit and ready to worship!
