The JCS PE kit worn correctly is an indicator of pride in the school, both while in school and on journeys to and from home. The PE department expects students to wear full JCS PE kit for every timetabled PE lessons as set out in the 'JCS PE Kit Requirements' which can be viewed below.
Jewellery
Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery when taking part in PE. If you are considering having your child's ears pierced please do this at the start of the summer holidays as this gives sufficient time for them to heal before the start of term. Jewellery worn when entering lessons will be confiscated and kept until the end of the week.

In summary:
Bottoms - JCS shorts, JCS skorts, JCS navy leggings or black leggings or jogging bottoms, plain black/navy loose fitting skorts/shorts
Top - JCS T-shirts
JCS half zip or JCS new blue hoodie
White socks (required for every sporting activity)
Long blue socks (required for both rugby and football)
Non mark sports trainers - white or black
*no nike pro style shorts or converse style trainers
Football requirements:
Shin pads -
"Safety is a key consideration for our game and the Laws of the Game state that shin-guards/pads are a compulsory piece of equipment.
Shin pads play an important role in injury prevention as they are intended to protect the shin from injury."

Long blue socks
Football boots - All students are expected to have football boots, we recommend buying these in 1-2 sizes bigger as football socks make these tighter and to allow for growth. We understand these can be expensive and would advise you to check local selling sites for second hand pairs or checking the sale area of sports direct. If your child is down to complete football or rugby it is important that they still bring their trainers in the event of adverse weather conditions or staff absence.
Trampolining:
Students must bring in trainers for Trampolining. If they do not follow this, appropriate sanctions will be given.
