JCS PE House Games
Here at JCS the PE department take great pride in organising and leading house games competitions for years 7-10. The house games take place once every term where form's compete against each other in different activities. These activities consist of either netball, football, badminton, dance, dodgeball, rounders, basketball, cricket and much more. The house competitions enable students to fulfill their desire of sport for 2 hours and increase their knowledge and ability in certain activities.

IMPORTANT notices regarding JCS PE fixtures:
Here at JCS we have a new system that we follow in regards to students attending fixtures. This system is called EVOLVE. For each and every fixture students that have been selected by their coach will create an announcement on EVOLVE which gets sent home to parents. Please note students do not receive this email, it is only the primary contacts of students therefore we suggest checking your junk mail and main mail in order to access this. Once you have received this email from EVOLVE you must confirm your child's availability. This notifies the coach and allows them to see who is able to play in the upcoming fixture.
If you do not confirm your child's availability via EVOLVE we are unable to select your child for the fixture. In addition, please ensure you respond if your child cannot play as this informs us if we have enough players.
When confirming your child's availability please provide further information on their collection. By doing this, we would appreciate you stating if you will be picking them up from the oppositional school (if it is an away fixture) or if they will be brought by by the JCS minibus. If it is a home game please ensure the collection for your child is on time (timings will be provided by the EVOLVE email) as this allows for prompt dismissal and student safety.
Here at JCS we strive for a great atmosphere during fixtures therefore if you plan to watch your child (at a home game) you are more then welcome to however it must be after school hours (3.00pm).
IMPORTANT NOTICE - Please note students are NOT allowed to borrow kit for any extra curricular activities or fixtures.
