The creative side of Nicola Mulryan

Nicola is originally from Liverpool, England and moved to Oslo, Norway at a young age. Nicola has worked with photography, graphic design, advertising, and digital design in Norway for many years. Nicola has also lived in Northern Norway where most of her inspiration for some of her illustration and photography were created.  

Today...

Surface design is an area that Nicola has slowly over time moved over to. Nicola started to become inquisitive within this industry several years ago. 

"After working with graphic design for many years, it felt natural to explore surface design. Its only now that I truly start to use my creativity within this area."

Nicola has used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop since the early 90´s and has held many courses and creative workshops for both private and commercial companies in Norway.

"Adobe software has always been the tools that have allowed me to accomplish what I set out to do and allow me to be as creative as I can, they are probably the best tools in the industry for digital design throughout the world."

 “As a designer who has worked within graphic design and advertising, my creative expression is driven by a desire to experiment and push boundaries. I believe that art is a reflection of one's inner self, and for me, that means exploring various forms and mediums. I find joy in the challenge of taking risks and creating something new and unique. Ultimately, my diverse art is a product of my creative curiosity and the need to continually evolve and grow and be creative as an artist."
