執行部/委員長/委員会

３時間授業の合間に２回ある休み時間。この休み時間の間、児童・生徒が校舎内外で安全に過ごせるよう各クラスからの当番保護者による安全パトロールが行われています。安全パトロール委員会の主な仕事は、当番の受付け、パトロール報告の受理と関係者への報告、パトロール体制を整えるための事前連絡などです。また、随時パトロール箇所を見直し、児童・生徒の事故や規則違反の防止に努めています。

The Safety Patrol Committee oversees the safety patrolling conducted during the two recesses of the school day. This Safety Patrol is conducted by guardians to ensure the safety of the children and students inside and outside the school building. The main roles of the Safety Patrol Committee include the scheduling/registration of guardians and information sharing with other parties of interest.

ファーストエイド委員会/First Aid Committee

気分や具合が悪くなってしまった子どもたちが、保護者が迎えに来るまで安心して待機できる場所、それがファーストエイド室。このファーストエイド室業務を支援しているのがファーストエイド委員会です。簡易ベッドの組み立てなど朝の準備から始まり、来室してきた子どもの保護者探し、小さな切り傷に絆創膏を貼ってあげたり、退室までの記録、後片付けなど、様々なお手伝いをしています。

漢字検定委員会

財団法人日本漢字能力検定協会の漢字能力検定（通称：漢検）をボストン日本語学校で受けられます。学校と協力して、その案内、受付、検定の実施から結果の送付、などを担当します。

音響記録委員会/Audio-Visual Committee

入学式や卒業式、運動会からＰＴＡ総会まで、様々な学校行事やＰＴＡ活動において音響機材の設置から撤収までを担っています。実際に音響技術に長けた委員さんが機材の操作を担当し、機材配置のマニュアル作りや機材の管理もしています。また、学校から依頼された行事の記録用写真の撮影も行なっています。

This committee is in charge of the set-up and clean-up of audio equipment for several school and PTA activities including the Entrance Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony, Sports Festival as well as the PTA General Meeting. The committee members who operate the equipment are well experienced in sound technology. The committee also takes photographs of school

activities (as requested by the school) for future reference purposes.

文化祭委員会

ＰＴＡ最大の行事は２学期に開催される文化祭です。日本から遠く離れた子どもたちに、できるだけ日本文化に触れてもらうことを目的に、その企画運営を担当するのが文化祭実行委員会です。１学期から準備を始め、２学期の開催、そして翌年度に向け反省と改善を行います。

図書委員会

蔵書２万冊以上、毎週８００冊が貸出される日本語図書館。図書委員会は、図書の貸出、返却整理、傷んだ本の修理など、図書館業務全般を支援しています。毎年恒例のブックフェア（古本市）では、企画の段階から開催まですべてのプロセスを担っています。ファンド文庫として、ＰＴＡが図書館では購入しない大人向けの本などを中心に購入し、図書館に寄付をしています。その書籍の選定・購入・貸出も行っています。

タレントショー

タレントショーは、生徒会（中高生）とPTA共催のイベントで、日米両方の文化で生活する生徒さんたちに同じ境遇の仲間と一緒に自由に自分を表現できるステージを提供します。クラスや学年を超えた生徒さん同士の交流や友好を深めてもらう機会にもなってもらえればという願いもこめられています。PTAタレントショー担当は生徒会と連携してイベントの企画、告知や出演者募集などイベントの準備、そして音響委員会と連携し当日のステージ支援とイベント全体の管理・運営を行います。

The talent show is an event co-hosted by the student council (Jr. high and high school students) and the PTA, providing students with an opportunity to freely express themselves on stage alongside peers who share similar experiences living in both Japanese and American cultures. We hope this event will also help students build connections and friendship across classes and grade levels. The PTA talent show coordinators collaborate with the student council to plan and manage the overall process of the event preparation, handling various tasks related to promotion, performer registration, developing stage plans through working with the sound committee, and assisting performers on the day of the event.
