Basketball

The Basketball virtual skills challenge offers you two chances to participate:

1) Shooting Challenge

    1. Starting on top of the key (Intl. 3pt line), the player must pick up the ball, dribble, and make a Lay-Up

    2. Before you rebound your MADE Lay-Up, do a single pushup where your chest hits the ground

    3. Dribble back and touch the 3pt. line with your hand

    4. Dribble to the Free-Throw Line and make a shot

    5. Before you rebound your MADE Free-Throw, do a single pushup where your chest hits the ground

    6. Dribble back and touch the 3pt. line with your hand

    7. Make a 3-Pointer

    8. Before you rebound your MADE 3-Pointer, do a single pushup where your chest hits the ground

    9. Dribble back to the top of the key and touch the 3pt. line with your hand. Done!

    10. Record your time for the leaderboard. Fastest time wins!

    11. Things you should know:

      • You can not advance to the next shot or do a push-up until you have made the shot you are attempting. This means that if you miss a shot, you need to go get the rebound and go back to the shot location and try again till you make!

      • A Complete submission has 1 made Lay-Up, 1 made Free-Throw, and 1 made 3-Pointer along with 3 push-ups.

      • If you are not filming on your school's basketball court you must include in your introduction a quick overview of the court including the pacing out of the lines and marking of some kind.

            • 3pt. Line, 6.75m, 22.1ft, or 7 large steps

            • Free Throw Line, 4.57m, 15ft. or 4.75 large steps

2) Slam Dunk Contest

  1. Video CAN be edited in any way (Unless you can do a nasty Windmill or 360 without the help of CGI)

  2. Video must begin with an introduction of your name, grade, and school, and you must give your dunk a name.

  3. No Rules Apply - have fun!

  4. A panel of judges will decide the winners
