Digital structure:
The digital structure is the layout and dissemination of materials for learners. It includes, lectures, readings, videos, audio, other types of multimedia components. It also includes assignments and the tools used for completing those assignments and the assessment of those assignments.
How delivery is structured:
This can be done in a number of ways, live video calls, written instructions, video instructions, narrated slideshows, games, work sheets, animations, etc… chances are you will use all of these at some point, and often you will use many each day. Just like f2f classroom, we rehearse what we are going to teach, before we teach it and we know what tools and methods we will use for each class. And, if you don’t do that, then you’ll probably want to start doing it. Winging it doesn’t work very well for online delivery.
