Helps students plan a path while in high school to develop post-secondary goals such as choice of college, technical school, military or workforce.
Scholarship searches and financial aid information as well as state mandated standardized testing are also included in this phase.
Includes aiding students to make choices concerning careers by helping them gather information to analyze career options in which they show interest and aptitude.
Is available to students who voluntarily visit school support personnel for the purpose of individual counseling. This is not an attempt to take over the duties or prerogatives of the parent or other adults close to students. It is the offering of an attitude of acceptance and understanding to students who wish to discuss their problems with school support personnel.
